Morterra adds a friends list and character customization
In December 2020 we added character customization to Morterra, with gender, skin color, hair and beards, along with friends and ignore lists.
The December 16, 2020 Morterra update added character customization and a friends list to the browser survival MMO. Players could now choose a gender, skin color, hair style and color, and a beard style. We had promised these options in June 2020, when the new player model came out.
What's new
- Character customization: gender, skin color, hair style and color, and beard styles
- Friends and ignore lists
- Chat censoring, which you can turn on or off in settings
- A fix for account recovery
- A better day and night cycle. Days are now twice as long as nights, and sunlight fades during the change.
- A shorter player reach distance, to discourage the wall lag glitch while we worked on a permanent fix
- Crossbows in the anvil menu
- Better Highscores and About Us pages
- Updated animal models
Crossbows first came out in August 2020, and this update put them in the anvil menu.
